Pausing... Long Enough to Notice - Teresa Huggins' new book!

Welcome to the new blog celebrating the release of Teresa Huggins first book, "Pausing... Long Enough to Notice".

We are here to celebrate and support your dreams. We welcome your stories of what has manifested in your world when you have taken a moment to pause. We believe the stories will inspire and invite others into action.

This book was created when Teresa "paused" from her hectic life as mom, wife, teacher, author and speaker. To accomplish much, she would often awake in the middle of the night or early morning and she would notice —notice the world around her that was always there yet so often overlooked. In a busy life with two children, Teresa was often "en route" instead of living "in the moment". In the pursuit of accomplishing much, she didn't notice the transformative beauty of her world and she didn't stop long enough to hear the powerful intuitive whispers of wisdom that wanted to capture her attention.

This book was created while another book (soon to be published) was being written. By taking a few minutes a day to "pause", she felt life at a different level of experience.

This blog invites you to share your messages of wisdom, your sparkling "ahah" moments and your ripples. Ripples of individuals who invite life to unfold, who capture the essence of life itself.

It is the intention of this site that others will share how the book touched their hearts, opened their mind and renewed their spirit.

If you are interested in having Teresa faciliate a renewal program for you and your friends or for your company, please contact her at beinspired@teresadhuggins.com.

As soon is the book is available on-line there will be a link in the left sidebar. We will offer discounts when multiple books are purchased.

I realize that when we live in the moment, we are more capable of achieving our goals as ideas come to us easily. A sense of possibility emerges. After reading the stories I felt courageaous to act. Thank you.

Thank you Teresa for your beautiful book of wisdom. I am using it as a meditation tool. I hold the book to my chest, close my eyes and ask for the wisdom that I need to know today. then I open the book randomly. I sit and read the words pausing long enough to really hear them. It is a lovely practice.

Teresa - I am very grateful to have met you, and feel blessed with this book. It came to me at just the right moment, as I was struggling with effective meditation. Reading just one passage can help the clearing process.

I especially was touched by "After The Attack: Sept 11, 2001". Your story was SO much like a moment with my own (then 7 year old) daughter...less than three months after the tragedy. She turned 7 on 12/8, and received 20 dollars from her grandmother, and the first thing she said was, "Dad can you help me give this to the Red Cross? They're helping the people who had to jump out of the two two 'sky-scwaypers'." I probably will never be more proud of my daughter, than that day.

The remembrance of your children's "knowingness" was so very touching. It serves to remind all of us grown ups with hang ups...that to live, as if a child, can be a very good place to be in your mind. (I hope that makes sense!)
